Annette Riley Fry collection on Laura Brooks Troth Riley 1870s-1930s

Laura Brooks Troth, 1882-1964, grew up in Germantown, Philadelphia and moved to Poughkeepsie, NY in 1909 when she married Woodbridge Riley, who was head of the Philosophy department at Vassar College. Laura returned to Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia with her five children after her husband's death. This collection includes diaries, photo albums, autograph album, photographs, clippings, other printed items, and many letters.

Laura Brooks Troth, 1882-1964, grew up in Germantown, Philadelphia and moved to Poughkeepsie NY in 1909 when she married Woodbridge Riley, who was head of the Philosophy department at Vassar College. Laura returned to Chestnut Hill with her five children after her husband's death in 1934 and lived on Wheelpump Lane, near the Morris Arboretum. Laura died in 1964 at The Anglecott on E.
