Herbert Haufrecht (1909-1998) was a composer, pianist, folklorist and music editor. His collection holds correspondence, concert programs, clippings, scores for his compositions and arrangements, and papers documenting his research on the music and culture of the Catskills region of New York, as well as on folk and indigenous music from around the world.
