Lyman Copeland Draper (1815-1891) was an American historian and librarian. The letters, written between 1857 and 1888, are mainly to the New York Tribune company, relating to the purchase of newspapers and offprints for the Wisconsin Historical Society. Lyman Copeland Draper (1815-1891), American historian known for his studies of the history of trans-Allegheny West.
