Charlotte Beckedorff, employed as Keeper of the Robes for Queen Charlotte from 1802 until the Queen's death in 1818. From 1796-1792, Fanny Burney had held the position of Second Keeper of the Robes for Queen Charlotte. To Mr. Harding : 1 autograph letter third person : 4 May [ca. 1802-1818] : (MISC 2006) : noting enclosed payment of a bill, likely for a Queen Charlotte-related purchase.
