This series consists of copies of correspondence and memorandums from the U.S. Information Agency's Broadcasting Service. These documents request permission to use material from articles, radio shows, books, and musical concerts. Covered are a wide variety of subjects, some of which include American aid overseas, America in space, modern medicine, communism, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and jazz concerts. The records also contain correspondence granting permission to use material for a specified amount of time. The records were maintained by the Office of the General Counsel.
