John B. Hutson (1890-1964), a native of Murray, Ky., worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as an authority on agricultural marketing with a specialty in tobacco. He was a marketing specialist for the Foreign Agricultural Service, chief of the Tobacco Branch of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration, and president of the Commodity Credit Corporation.
