This collection contains microfilm copies of certain files, particularly those reflecting the work of the AFL-CIO in connection with the important legislative measures of the Kennedy administration, and copies of selected segments of the correspondence files of AFL-CIO that show the significance of its work in many areas of national endeavor during that period. Includes a central file as well as decentralized departmental files. Except for records of the Office of the President, nearly everything in the central file is duplicated in one of the departmental files.
