series contains film and sound recordings related to the motion picture film, "The President: November 1966," including silent film footage that was not used in the finished film. The finished film is a narrative account of President Lyndon B. Johnson's activities for the month of November, 1966. The film contains scenes of President Johnson's trip to Cotulla, Texas which includes President Johnson and Ambassador Arthur Goldberg boarding Air Force One; President Johnson's visit to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas; President Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson voting at the Pedernales Electric Cooperative in Johnson City, Texas; Ambassador Averell Harriman visiting the LBJ Ranch; and President Johnson giving a press conference at the Municipal building in Fredericksburg, Texas. The film also contains footage of President Johnson's trip to Bethesda Naval Hospital for scheduled surgery. This section includes President Johnson visiting with General Dwight D. Eisenhower and President and Lady Bird Johnson celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary with Vice President Hubert Humphrey. Additionally, there are more scenes from the LBJ Ranch, in Stonewall, Texas, including President Johnson signing bills in his ranch office; an awards ceremony for Gemini astronauts, attended by Mr. and Mrs. Buzz Aldrin and Mr. and Mrs. James Lovell; and Congressmen Carl Albert, Hale Boggs, and Gerald Ford, along with Vice President Hubert Humphrey and Senators Everett Dirksen and Mike Mansfield, arriving for a bipartisan meeting with the President.

Buzz Aldrin (b. Edwin Eugene Aldrin, Jr., January 20, 1930, Glen Ridge, NJ) is an American astronaut and fighter pilot. He was the second person to step food on the moon with the Apollo 11 space shuttle. Aldrin is a former U.S. Air Force officer with the Command Pilot rating. He also went into orbit on the Gemini 12 mission....
