Treasurer's account books in which actors and related personnel of the Walnut Street Theatre (Philadelphia, Pa.) signed weekly to indicate that they had received their salaries. Volume 1 comprises March 11, 1867 to August 7, 1868; Volume 2 comprises August 8, 1868 to April 14, 1870; Volumes 3 & 4 were apparently destroyed; and Volume 5 comprises August 22, 1874 to June 10, 1877.
