Scrapbooks, scripts, correspondence, poems, invitations, clippings, engagement diary, programs, photos, and phonograph records of Ruth Draper (ca. 1910-1956). Collection includes: scrapbook of letters from admirers, mainly prominent actors, writers, and public officials (2 v.); scrapbook of her Australian and New Zealand tour in 1938; scrapbooks of clippings of articles about her, reviews of her performances, programs, etc. (2 v.); a scrapbook of poems written for her, invitations, citations from colleges, photos, etc.; manuscript "The Art of the Monologue" by E.V. Lucas; playscript of "The Three Fates" by Edward Sheldon [and?] Ruth Draper, 1924-1925; sound recordings of Draper performing many of her best-known monologues (11 discs); a book of poems in Draper's handwriting; and several volumes of scripts of her sketches, some never performed.
