As 1st Lieutenant was attached to 3rd Brigade, 2nd Division, 5th Corps in Santiago, Cuba (1898). Later promoted to Major in the 7th Infantry and stationed at Fort Wayne, Mich. (1908-09). May have been with A.E.F. in France in 1919?
