Veldman, Jeannette, 1901-
Veldman graduated from Hope College in 1926 and from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing (Chicago) in 1929. In 1946 she received a Masters of Nursing Education and Administration from Columbia University. In 1930 Veldman accepted a missionary nursing position in Amoy, China. After the communist takeover, Veldman was re-assigned to the Arabian Mission as Director of Nursing. She returned to the United States in 1967 and did part-time work for Portable Recording Ministries.
