New York (State). Governor's Office of Employee Relations. Joint Labor-Management Committee.

Hide Profile

Statewide Joint Labor - Management Committees (LMCs) approve projects and funding for implementing contractual benefits for the various employee unions (PEF, CSEA, Council 82, etc.). Projects include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, training, health and safety programs, and others. Some negotiated projects become significant ongoing programs (e.g., the GOER Child Care Unit). LMC members are GOER and union appointees; decisions are reached by consensus.
