Great Falls Waterpower and Townsite Company.
The company property was acquired, and the company founded, by Paris Gibson in 1887. Shortly after incorporation virtually all capital stock was conveyed to partner James J. Hill in exchange for his portion of the company lands, all in the vicinity of Great Falls. Management of the company rested with Hill until he sold his stock to John D. Ryan in 1908. The company built a power generating dam at Great Falls.
