L N G Ramsay worked on the ornithological results produced by the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, 1902-1904 (leader William Speirs Bruce). While not a member of the expedition himself, he along with other experts and expedition personnel undertook research on the results, which were later published. Bruce praised him for his work.
