Horace B. Robertson, Professor of Law, was born in 1923 and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1945, received a J.D. from Georgetown University and an M.S. from George Washington University, and served in the Navy for 31 years, retiring as a rear admiral. While on active duty, he served as Judge Advocate General of the Navy, 1975-1976. He was on the faculty of the Duke University Law School, 1976-1990. He served as Charles H. Stockton Professor of International Law at the Naval War College, 1991-1992.
