Vermont. Governor (1797-1807 : Tichenor)
The land, approximately 6,000 acres, was granted February 25, 1782 by the Vermont General Assembly. Later Harris Gore was annexed to Plainfield, Vermont in 1855, before being divided between Groton and Marshfield, Vermont in 1890.
