Chs Copeland & Co.
From note on inside cover: In May 1844, Charles and Benjamin Copeland and James S. Wiggin purchased more than a hundred thousand acres around the Schoonic Lakes in Washington County, Maine from the Bingham heirs. Wiggin sold his interest to Frederick Kidder in 1845. The company was held by Copeland and Kidder and managed by Chas Copeland under the style of Chs Copeland & Co. In October 1852, the company sold plots to various individuals.
