Friends of the Beacon Press, Inc.
Friends of the Beacon Press, Inc. was organized in 1978 to prevent the Unitarian Universalist Association from selling Beacon Press to a commercial enterprise. The group was formed as a non-profit membership corporation to purchase the Press.
