Westchester County (N.Y.). Dept. of Planning.
The Planning Department dates to 1937 with the creation of the County Planning Commission. It provides planning and research assistance to municipalities and makes available to the public information and data on the county's development. Hugh R. Pomeroy was Director of the Department of Planning from 1946 to 1961.
