Strauss, Frederick, 1867-
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Strauss was first employed as a machinist with the James Flower Brothers Brass and Iron Works in 1878. He worked in several Detroit machine shops, including the Detroit Automobile Company in 1899 and Ford and Malcomson Company in 1902, before joining the American Radiator Company in 1906. Strauss retired in 1930.
