Appalachian Studies Student Alliance.
The Appalachian Studies Student Alliance is a non-incorporated, unofficial student organization for Appalachian Studies undergraduates, graduates and alumnus at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC. Developed as a class project for Helen Lewis' Participatory Research class (Fall 1999) by graduate students Donovan Cain and Erica Collins. The Alliance is an unofficial organization which holds social events for students and alumnus and educational events for the Boone community.
