Howard Nechamkin, Professor of Chemistry, was born in 1918, earned a B.A. from Brooklyn College (1939), an M.S. in chemistry from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (1949), and an Ed.D. from New York University (1961), taught at Trenton State College from 1961 to 1985, and served as chair of the chemistry department from 1973 to 1984.
