Zelechiwsky, Joseph, Very Rev., b.1890.
Very Rev. Joseph Zelechiwsky (1890- ) was born in Borynia, Ukraine. He was ordained as a Ukrainian Orthodox priest in Chicago, IL, in 1919, and served parishes in Kansas, North Dakota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. During his long career, he was active in choirs and other cultural affairs, and received numerous citations and awards.
