McCrary, Matthew Calhoun, 1834-1908.
Native of Laurens District, S.C.; M.C. McCrary served in the Civil War with Company A, 13th Regiment, South Carolina Infantry and was wounded at the Second Battle of Manassas in Aug. 1862. He died in Howard County, Ark., 22 Dec. 1908.
