Born into a family of established authors and illustrators, Peggy Adler furthered the notoriety of the Adler surname as a producer of exemplary children's material. She began illustrating books during her adolescence for her father, Irving. This was the commencement of numerous familial collaborations. Peggy Adler's repertoire includes Hot and Cold, Adler's Books of Puzzles and Riddles, Weather in Your Life, and The Environment .
