Bischoff, James, 1775-1845
James Bischoff (1775-1845), author of works on the wool trade, was connected with the woollen trade in Leeds, but subsequently carried on business as a merchant and insurance broker in London. He published works aiming at reform in laws relating to wool. See the Dictionary of National Biography.
