Acheson, William
Variant namesWilliam Acheson was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in 1839. Acheson enlisted with the 102nd Pennsylvania Volunteers on August 15, 1861, and served for three years in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, before being mustered out on September 5, 1864 near Charles Town, West Virginia.
