Taylor, Joseph E.
Variant namesJoseph Taylor operated a general store on the Southeast Corner of State and Union Streets in Kennett Square, Pa. He was a descendent of a Quaker family that first settled in Kennett ca. 1730. The family lived either above or behind the store for Joseph's son, Bayard, was born in the building on Jan. 11, 1825.
