Cowan, Lena O., ca. 1897-1984.
George Cowen (ca. 1820-1887) was born in Scotland and moved to Savannah, Georgia, with his wife, Jane Widdrington Horsley and their sons, John Robert Cowan (1849-1915) and Harry Widdrington Cowan. Harry Widdrington Cowan's first wife was Maggie P. Oliver (ca. 1864-1908), a native of Georgia. The family name was originally "Cowen," but changed to "Cowan."
