Branin, Amelia Nevin, approximately 1754-1819

Amelia Nevin Branin was a Quaker minister from southern New Jersey. She was born Amelia Neven about the year 1754. In 1773 she married Cornelius Branin of Burlington County; the couple had at least 7 children. Branin and her husband joined the Society of Friends in 1777 at Evesham Monthly Meeting. In 1788 Branin was appointed to the ministry. In 1792 the family moved to Egg Harbor in Atlantic County. Branin died in 1819 at the age of 65.
