Macy, Enoch, 1743-1806

Enoch Macy was a Quaker from the eastern U.S. He was born to Joseph Macy and Hannah Hobbs Macy of Nantucket, Massachusetts, in 1743. In 1763 Enoch married Anna Macy, daughter of David and Dinah Macy, another Nantucket Friend. The couple had at least 10 children over the course of their lives. In 1772 the family moved to Guilford County, North Carolina. Macy died in 1806.
