Olive Field Cawley Watson (b. May 10, 1918, New York, New York-d. November 13, 2004, Greenwich, Connecticut), former model and philanthropist, was a close friend of the Kennedy family. A graduate of the Kimberly School in Montclair, New Jersey, Olive became a successful model and appeared on the cover of Vogue and other magazines. In December of 1941, she married Lieutenant Thomas John Watson, Jr., former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IBM and ambassador to the Soviet Union, with whom she had six children. She supported many civic and charitable organizations, including Greenwich Hospital, the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University, the New York Botanical Garden, the YWCA International Council, the New York City Mission, and the Montclair Kimberly School.
