Jones, Max
Ronald Maxwell Jones (b. 1917) was a radio host and jazz writer. Jones featured in several jazz analysis radio programs, including those produced by radio station WOI in Ames, Iowa and others distributed by the Feminist Radio Network and the National Association of Educational Broadcasters. He additionally wrote several profiles and longer biographies of prominent jazz musicians including Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Jones died in 1993.
