Lyndhurst (Tarrytown, N.Y. : Estate))
Variant namesLyndhurst is a Gothic Revival mansion designed by Alexander Jackson Davis in 1838 for William Paulding. It was subsequently owned by George Merritt and Jay Gould. In 1964 the 67-acre estate passed to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
