Rancher and conservationist. Born 1892 in Galveston, Tex. Spent his first eight years living at the Las Moras Ranch in Menard County, Tex. Served as a second Lieutenant in the 65th Field Artillery during World War I. Owner ranches in Menard and Schleicher Counties, Tex. Interested in water and soil conservation. Founded in 1941 the Eldorado Divide Soil Conservation District and served as its president until his death. Served as vice-president of the Tom Green Historical Society. Wrote and published articles on West Texas ranches and ranching. Died 1963 at Cristoval, Tex.
