Arizona Historical Society (Tucson, Ariz.)
The Society of Arizona Pioneers was formed in 1884 for civic and humanitarian purposes; it is currently known as the Arizona Historical Society. These papers were created after Geronimo and others left the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in May 1885.
