Sylvia Ruby Thompson was born on July 4, 1895 in Kansas; married Albert R. Pezoldt; became a journalist with the Colorado Springs gazette ; wrote children's poems, short stories, and non-fiction; conducted writing courses and was a member of the National League of American Pen Women; she died in August 1963.
