Peter Family.
Brighton, Illinois family who had two sons serving in the 122nd Illinois Infantry, Company D during the Civil War. Samuel was killed at Parker's Cross Roads, Tenn. in 1863. William served until the war ended. Their sister Emma lived at home with their parents in Brighton. Sister Mary was married and lived away from Brighton.
