Osborne, Adlai, 1744-1815.
Adlai Osborne, of Salisbury, N.C., was a patriot, lawyer, clerk of court, and University of North Carolina trustee. He had four sons who graduated from the University of North Carolina: Alexander, 1798; Edwin J., 1798; Adlai L., 1802; and Spruce M., 1805.
