Barrett, William C.

William C. Barrett was the Editor of the Kent State University alumni magazine, Kent, in 1970 (a position which he still holds). As Editor, he and Donald Shook, Director of Alumni Relations, were the recipients of many emotional letters from alumni during the months following the shootings that took place on campus on May 4, 1970. Mr. Barrett coordinated the project which culminated in a special summer issue of the magazine. This issue of Kent contained an extensive chronology of the events that took place from May 1, 1970 through June 22, 1970.
