The Young Men and Women's Hebrew Association was formed in 1910 when the Young Men's Hebrew Association merged with the Young Women's Hebrew Association. The organization provided cultural, social, and educational opportunities for Jewish youth. In 1974, the association merged with the Irene Kaufmann Center to form the Jewish Community Center.
