John Ridgeway was a Quaker Elder associated with Little Egg Harbor Monthly Meeting from Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born the 28th of the 8th month 1705 (Old Style) to Thomas and Ann Ridgeway, the third child out of five. His first marriage was to Phebe Titus of Long Island in 1728 and his second was to Phoebe Ballanger in 1753. John Ridgeway died on May 21, 1774, aged near 70 years.
