Evans, John, 1774-1841
John Evans was a Quaker who lived in Burlington County, New Jersey and was associated with both Evesham Monthly Meeting and Medford and Upper Evesham Monthly Meeting. He was born to Enoch and Mary Evans on the 17th of the 2nd month 1774. In 1799 he married Rebecca Cowperthwaite; the couple had six children together named Ezra, Lydia, William, Mary C., David, and Deborah. He died March 18, 1841.
