John Hunt was a Quaker who lived in the Township of Evesham, in Burlington, New Jersey. He was born to John and Esther (Warrington) Hunt on the 26th of the 5th month 1778. In 1805 he married Ann Brown, daughter of Joseph Brown of Mansfield Township; the couple had six children together named Joseph B., Susannah, Esther, Clayton, Beulah, and Benjamin. Hunt died June 30, 1824.
