Clayton Brown was a minister associated with Burlington, New Jersey and Burlington Monthly Meeting. He was born on the 20th day of the 12th month 1763, the son of Samuel and Ann Brown. His first marriage was to Elizabeth Satterthwaite in 1791. His second marriage was to Esther Ballinger in 1816, which made him the son in law of John Haines. He died on the 30th day of the 6th month, 1847.
