Jones, Davy, active 1799-
Davy Jones was an enslaved carpenter, owned by George Washington. Jones worked at the Mansion House Farm, part of the Mount Vernon estate in Virginia. He was married to Edy, an enslaved woman, who is documented to have worked at Union Farm (part of Mount Vernon) in 1786, and was also owned by George Washington.
