Sisters Dora and Edith Felch ran a photography studio in Sanford, North Carolina, between 1905-1908. The studio produced photo postcards.

Dora Alice Felch was born May 1882, in Winchester, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, to William LaRoy Felch (1836-1901) and Eliza Sophronia Davis Felch (1844-1918). After her father's death she moved to North Carolina with her mother and sister Edith Elizabeth Felch (1875-1961), while her two brothers, Fred L. Felch (1870-1934) and Don Waldo Felch (1877-1957), remained in New Hampshire.

From 1905 to 1908, she operated a photography studio with her sister in Sanford, Lee County, North Carolina. She married Frederic William Welch on 19 September 1907, in Lee County, North Carolina. In the marriage register her profession is given as "photographer". In the 1910 U.S. Census, she and her husband are living in Iowa City, Johnson County, Iowa, where her profession is given as "saleslady". She died 23 April 1959, in Pullman, Whitman County, Washington.
