The Division of Community Environmental Protection is composed of several sections: the goal of the Indoor Air Quality Section is to investigate indoor air quality for building related illnesses, detection of indoor air contaminates and asbestos surveys; the Onsite Sewage Disposal Section provides inspections of on-site sewage disposal systems and approval for subdivisions; the Solid Waste and Vector Control Section provides technical advice, training and consultation on the control of vectors of public health importance and in the collection and disposal of solid waste.
