Variant namesPoet, born in Burlington, Iowa; resident of Lexington, Mass. From 1981 to 1993, Filipowska attended advanced poetry seminars taught by Kinereth Gensler at Radcliffe College. Under the feminine form of her husband's surname as her penname, Filipowska's poetry was published posthumously by her husband in 1993 in an anthology entitled, The well.
